ABOUT US

The Farm is an integrated unique facility specialising in fitness, strength and conditioning, nutrition and mental wellness. We take a personalised approach where we recognise that everyone is an individual and have different skills and genetic make-ups.  We offer a a fun atmosphere which cultivates positive health changes and offers people the chance to evolve and grow. We promote 'all round strength' which encompass strength of both body and mind and The Farm provides a platform and environment which inspires, relaxes and challenges in equal measure.

 

THE FACILITY

At ‘The Farm’ we offer outstanding training in an inspirational facility for all manner of fitness activities and all levels of athlete. 

 

We run large group sessions, one to one personal training, studio classes, fitness camps and bespoke team sessions.

 

Boasting a 200m2 indoor astroturfed area, 150m2 strength and conditioning facility, studio, relaxation space and 300 acres of trail land , we have the ability to offer the best tailor-made service and inspirational environment for you or your team to train in and achieve results in a motivational and positive setting.

 

CLASSES & PRICES

We have a variety of classes available for all abilities, from beginners to the advanced, along with a competitive pricing structure, that fits around the busiest of lifestyles. 

 

We also offer personal training sessions on a  'one on one ' basis or as a group. 

Intro Class

  • Acquiring skills on basic movement patterns

  • Confidence building within a class environment

  • Build up fitness levels

  • Mixture of weights and aerobic conditioning from low to medium intensity

  • Suited to individuals starting out looking to build up strength and fitness

Burn Class

  • Improve skills through basic to more complex movement patterns 

  • Pushing fitness and strength levels with medium to high intensity weights and aerobic conditioning

  • Suited to individuals with a good base fitness

  • Mix of strength and aerobic 

Lift Class

  • Complex movement skill acquisition

  • Large proportion of class is based around strength training

  • Working with barbells and more advanced equipment

  • Suited to individuals confident in all basic movement patters looking to push themselves

  • Small groups 2-6 people,  2-3 people have 1 trainer 4-6 have 2 trainers

  • Full mobility and skill assessment

  • Clients responsible to record and monitor progression and progress

  • Nutritional advice given - More in depth nutritional plans available at request

  • Technique taught to match individuals skill level and mobility

MEET THE TEAM

At ‘The Farm’ we have an experienced and enthusiastic team ready to help with all aspects of your training. We take a highly personalised approach where we recognise  individuals have different needs and aim to meet all of these and more.

We work with a range of clients varying from those starting out on their fitness journey, at any age, to seasoned professionals who want to tweak performance or those rehabilitating from illness or injury.

Health and fitness has played a huge role my life for over 20 years starting with rugby, football and Athletics and has been a driving force since a young age, this has continued throughout my life maintaining my fitness levels once I started work, got married and had a family.

 

Although my personal training qualifications are in Strength and Conditioning, prior to embarking on my career in the fitness industry I worked as a mental health professional for over 10 years.  During that time I saw first-hand the benefits of promoting  all round strength and the importance of combining being physically strong with a robust and positive mindset.

 

From this starting point the idea of 'The Farm' was born, an environment where we can promote physical strength training and well-being in an inspirational setting which allows you to relax and refocus the mind.

 

I enjoy working with each individual client to determine their goals and use my skills as a trainer to motivate and instil a sense of confidence to help them achieve results. 

 

I work with a range of clients from those starting out on their fitness journey at any age to seasoned professionals who want to tweak performance or those rehabilitating from illness or injury.

Health and fitness has been a passion of mine for the last 5 years and have always enjoyed keeping fit and healthy utilising various training methods and forms of exercise.

After pursuing and achieving my qualifications in the fitness industry I decided that now was the appropriate time to realise my ambitions and help others initiate a positive change in their life. 

I believe that by encouraging people to change their mind-set, exercise becomes enjoyable - when this happens the process of achieving their goals becomes easier and less daunting.

At 'The Farm' I believe we have created an ideal atmosphere to promote confidence , hard work , intensity and camaraderie in equal measure.

Having been through the process of making positive lifestyle and fitness changes in recent years I am able to connect with individuals trying to achieve the same aim and recognise when they need motivation and guidance to realise their aspirations and  ambitions.
